Commentary: It has become very expensive to buy 1 oz silver panda. While the prices of the Lunar coins have somewhat stabilise, the crowd seems to be pushing the Panda coins. You'll probably never get to buy pre-2001 versions below S$100 except maybe for 1996 and 1997. The range for 2001 - 2006 is about S$85 - 100 and 2007 to 2010 range is near S$80. The 2011 version now costs more than 2009 and 2010 despite having much higher mintage due to scarcity.
