The 1992 frosty version of the Chinese Silver Panda coin is my favourite version. Prior to owning the frosty version, I could only see the coin through photos. It was until I held both versions in my hands, could I tell the difference and the beauty of the frosty version. Most people call the frosty version 'Large Date' which got me trying to figure out the difference but it wasn't distinctive from photos. As seen from the first and second photos, the background of the Temple of Heaven is frosty and non-frosty respectively. The font of '1992' is also differentiated in terms of frostiness. On the reverse, the field is deep cameo while the relief is frosty on the frosty coin (third photo).

The Proof version is intriguing to me in a way that it has a torch mark on it, which I'm trying to find out what the torch mark meant for the coin. I have seen the torch mark on the obverse side of the coin but have yet to see the coin having the torch mark on the reverse side though the seller claimed it to be so.
